Tri-(2- chloroethyl) phosphate, referred to as TCEP, is a colorless or light yellow oily liquid, with a light cream taste. Slightly soluble in water, readily in alcohols, ketones, aromatics, chloroform and carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents, insoluble in fatty hydrocarbons.
