Tri-(2- chloroethyl) phosphate, referred to as TCEP, is a colorless or light yellow oily liquid, with a light cream taste. Slightly soluble in water, readily in alcohols, ketones, aromatics, chloroform and carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents, insoluble in fatty hydrocarbons.This product is widely used as polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, phenolic resin, acrylic resin, rubber and plastic flame retardant belt and other flame retardant; Used in the manufacture of fire retardant coatings, polyacrylonitrile fiber, paperboard, wood refractory treatment and petroleum additives.
