AM58 is a halogen-free flame retardant with high phosphorus content and low hygroscopicity. It has high thermal stability and is suitable for polyurethane, rubber and plastic products, various thermoplastics, thermosetting products and other fields.

Application of halogen-free flame retardants in automobiles Flame retardants are chemical materials with special properties. They are not only harmless to the environment, but also can improve product performance and extend product life.

Halogen-free flame retardants have a wide range of uses:

1. Used for flame retardant of various wires and cables in electronic appliances, computers, and communication equipment;

2. Used for fire protection of motors, transformers and other components in household appliances;

3. Used as a component of plasticizers and heat stabilizers for plastic rubber products;

4. Release agents and anti-rust additives used in metal surface treatment;

Halogen-free refers to substances that do not contain brominated flame retardants or contain very small amounts of brominated flame retardants. There are more than a dozen halogen-free substances currently in use, the most famous of which is tetraethyl lead. Since the smoke produced when chlorine-containing compounds are burned is harmful to the human body, countries around the world have restricted the use of chlorine-containing inorganic substances as components of foaming agents and adhesives, and as fillers in coatings and adhesives.
